Raised in humble but loving surroundings, Patrick eventually began to believe that there was a distinct purpose and calling for his life. At the age of twenty he began a journey to discover and express that calling. As a result, he became a pastor and leader of several congregations in Canada and the US and began a decades-long emphasis of training and developing the abilities of others.

He is the author of Serve on Purpose: A Guide to Effective Service in the Local Church, which is used as curriculum for the Mobilize laity training program in his denomination. His expertise has opened doors and provided opportunities to speak and train on international platforms and at an executive level. In addition to educating groups, he has also created a personalized coaching program to launch individuals into their full potential.
